Und nun mal andersherum! Stets wird die Unzulänglichkeit der “soft facts” in Relation zu den Hard facts beklagt. Nun gibt es eine Untersuchung,  die vom Ansatz ausgeht: Was nützen uns die Zahlen, Daten und Fakten,  wenn dahinter keine Werte stehen. Menschen mit ihrem Verhalten, ihren Normen und Standards und Kommunikations- und Informationsverhalten (kurz: ihrer Unternehmenskultur) können die Zahlen, die Strategien, hinter denen sie nicht stehen sehr schnell ausbremsen. Das Standardbild der Unternehmenswelt ist ein mechanistisches Weltbild. Von diesem Blickwinkel aus  werden die  Potenziale, aber auch Gefahren unterschätzt, die in der Unternehmenskultur stecken. Im Positiven kann eine hoch motivierte Mannschaft Unmögliches möglich machen, im Negativen können demotivierte Mitarbeiter im Unternehmen erheblichen Sand ins Getriebe streuen-Treiber der Unternehmenskultur bis zum Extrem- das Unternehmen durch ihre Einstellung in den Ruin treiben.

Erinnern Sie sich an die gebetsmühlenhafte Wiederholung der Aussagen: Mehr als 60 % aller Fusionen scheitern, weil….. u.a. der Aspekt Unternehmenskultur missachtet worden ist ?
Eine neuere  Untersuchung hat  die (gar nicht so neuen) aber wichtigsten Treiber der Unternehmenskultur identifiziert:

  • 72 % Vorbildwirkung der Vorgesetzten
  • 44%  Viel Freuraum / Möglichkeiten zur Selbstorganisation und Eigenverantwortung
  • 43%  Interne Kommunikation
  • 33% Regelmäßige Führungsgespräche / Coaching
  • 26% Interessante, spannende Arbeit
  • 23% Entwicklung sozialer Kompetenzen

In Quintessenz: Wenn solche kulturellen Werte (soft facts) (mit) ursächlich für Erfolg des Unternehmens sind, gestalten sie hard facts. und anders herum: Ohne diese Werte ist es mit den hard facts (Zahlen, Daten, Fakten) nicht weit her. Soll heißen, die hard facts weisen eher Misserfolg aus.
